Central
Hindi Training Institute/Hindi Teaching Scheme
Hindi
Training Programmes
Under the aegis of the Hindi Teaching
Scheme and the Central Hindi Training Institute working as a
subordinate office of the Deptt. of Official Language, Ministry of
Home Affairs. Govt. of
India
,
there are three type of training programmes e.i. Hindi Language,
Hindi Typing and Hindi Stenography are being run throughout the
country. Hindi training is being imparted to the Central government
employees, as well as, to the Private
Sector under takings.
The
training is being imparted through full time centres, as well as,
through part time centers.
Types
of training programmes
There are four
type of courses being implemented under the scheme :-
1.
In
service training {Through full time and part time training centers}.
2.
Correspondence
courses of Hindi language and Hindi typing.
3.
Intensive
courses of Hindi lanuage/Hindi Typing and Hindi Stenography of short
duration.
4.
Self
learning through web by software packages of Leela Probodh, Leela
Praveen and
Leela Pragya.
Regional
Offices and Sub Institutes
There
are five regional offices of Hindi Teaching Scheme located at
Delhi
,
Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Guwahati and also, Five Sub training
institutes located at Mumbai, Kolkata, Banglore, Chennei and
Hydrabad.
Status
of Hindi training centres
At present, there are 116 Hindi
Language full time training centre, 08 part time Hindi Language centres,
20 full time Hindi typewriting and stenography centres 17
part-time centres. Thus total there are 161training centres.
New
Dimensions
1.
To
fulfill the increasing demand of Hindi training of the North Eastern
region a New regional head quarter has been established at Guwahati
and new Hindi training centres have been established at: Imphal,
Aizole and Agartala.
2.
Almost
all the typing/Stenography centers have been computerized.
3.
The
rewritten Prabodh Course is being taught from January, 2006 in the
Intensive Training Programme of CHTI/Sub Institute and Hindi
Teaching Scheme.
4.
The rewritten Praveen Course is being taught from Jan., 2009 in the
Intensive Training Programme of CHTI/Sub Institute and Hindi
Teaching Scheme.
5.
Further, Printing of rewritten Pragya Course is under process. It
will be started in due course.
6.
To
bring transparancy in the training programmes the annual calender of
training programmes, as well as, result of all the Hindi
examinations have been made available on the web.
